Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

No medical certificate or membership of the federation is required to run the StraLugano; however, by registering, each participant self-certifies "that he is sufficiently trained to take part in this race, that he is in good physical health and that he has medical confirmation of his good health".

You can check to make sure your name is on the start list. Please note: the update is done at night, so names will be there the day after registration.

If you have taken out cancellation and/or waiver insurance in case of illness or accident when registering online via DataSport, you can apply for reimbursement with the insurance company Europäische Reiseversicherungs AG by sending the following documents:

• Confirmation of payment from Datasport, which shows that you took out cancellation insurance.
• A detailed medical certificate that confirms the illness or accident.

The start number can be transferred to another person on payment of a fee of CHF 10.00/EUR 9.00. It is not possible to change the type of race for which registration was made. Changes are only possible up to the date of the printing of the bibs and will only be made on presentation of a registration or payment confirmation.

You can proceed with the normal registration through DataSport and indicate as your date of birth the year 2000. Then you must download the "Assumption of Responsibility" (Assunzione di responsabilità) form and fill it out and send it to [email protected] We will proceed to correct the year of birth.

The outward journey is valid from 5 to 11 September 2022 and the return journey from 10 to 15 September 2022 and is included in the entry fee for the 21Km Half Marathon, 21Km HM Relay, 10Km CityRun, Monte Brè Challenge Race, 5Km FastRun and KidsRun races.
